“Innovation with Intelligence” – Nuria Manuel – CEO at Veriom

Nuria is the Founder and CEO of Veriom, an application monitoring platform that specialises in auditing software systems using AI and she is a Software Quality Consultant working with SMEs. She has a robust background in product validation and reliability, control engineering, quality assurance, and data analysis within the engineering and technology sectors. Nuria is also an enthusiastic speaker on topics related to software quality, data and diversity in tech, and is featured in the Voices in the Shadow II book.

“Values vs AI: How to create a responsible AI strategy?” – Rachel Coldicutt – Founder and Executive Director at Careful Trouble

Rachel Coldicutt is a researcher and strategist specialising in the social impact of new and emerging technologies. She is founder and executive director of research consultancy Careful Industries and its sister social enterprise Promising Trouble.

She was previously founding CEO of responsible technology think tank Doteveryone where she led influential and ground-breaking research into how technology is changing society and developed practical tools for responsible innovation. Prior to that, she spent almost 20 years working at the cutting edge of new technology for companies including the BBC, Microsoft, BT, and Channel 4, and was a pioneer in the digital art world. Rachel is an advisor, board member and trustee for a number of companies and charities and, from 2020-2023, served as a non-executive director at Ofcom. In 2019, Rachel was awarded an OBE in the New Year’s Honours for services for the digital society.

David Crawford –  Host – C-Level Tech Leader & NED for NHS. 

David is a C-level tech leader with a background in leading scaled Product Development teams for Naked Wines, Camelot, Sky and BT, David has also driven Inclusion and Diversity initiatives. As well as his technology passion, David is a committed family man, part-time bee keeper and enjoys the occasional Malbec. David has been our event compere since the very beginning and has been a panel favourite ever since.

Sophie Valentine – VP of Product Innovation – Healios 

Sophie is VP of Product Innovation at Healios, the UK’s leading private provider of healthcare for children and young people with neurodiversity and mental health needs. With an early background in experimental psychology and cognitive neuroscience research, Sophie has since spent her career on the London start-up / scale-up scene, focussing on strategic and operational product roles in the tech-for-good space, most recently in digital health. Sophie is also co-founder and London Chapter Lead of NeuroTechX, the world’s largest global community for the advancement of neurotechnology

Tim Gordon – Partner – Best Practice AI

Tim has over twenty years’ international leadership experience in growing businesses and digital and data transformation in the media, financial services, consumer, not-for-profit, campaigning, local search and lead generation industries. He has served in senior roles at media and consulting companies as well in campaigning organisations as well as 5 years as the Chief Executive of the Liberal Democrats party. He is a regular speaker on AI and his commentary on AI has been published in The Washington Post, Financial Times and Prospect.

Lyubomira Dimitrova – Senior Director Technical Programme Management – Onfido

Lyubomira is a Senior Director of Technical Programme Management at Onfido, an AI Identity Verification company. Throughout her career Lyubomira has delivered several end-to-end fraud preventative ML products and systems. She has expertise in scaling ML Operations to industrialise the ML product delivery.Lyubomira is passionate about scaling and developing technology organisations to enable them to develop ethical and sustainable AI systems for the future.

Steve Higgon – CEO – TAAP

With Steve’s 40-year career in Space & Defence, Retail, and the Commercial sector, he has been able to build and deploy applications at scale in almost every industry and vertical for the world’s largest brands. His early experiences provided a unique understanding of the failings of how people and organisations approach software development and digital transformation. These experiences lead to the creation of TAAP as a faster platform for creating applications with smaller teams, fewer errors, and as much flexibility and functionality as conventional software applications.
